Presenting an exceptional, authentic Royal Copenhagen / Aluminia "Eremitage" large monumental faience urn vase. Designed in the early 20th century under the artistic direction of Christian Joachim, this majestic piece represents a pinnacle of Danish ceramic mastery. The urn features a masterfully sculpted, lobed bulbous silhouette divided into distinct registers. Each panel is decorated by hand with deep cobalt blue floral motifs, trailing leafy vines, and delicate lattice borders that invoke classical European Delftware traditions.

The underside bears the crisp, historically significant impressed "EREMITAGE KØBENHAVN" factory stamp alongside the hand-rendered pattern mark 45. This substantial, heirloom-quality masterpiece seamlessly balances historic Scandinavian design with timeless decorative appeal, making it an extraordinary focal piece for serious art pottery collectors or high-end interiors.

Condition Report

The urn remains in excellent vintage condition, exhibiting a beautiful, uniform glaze crazing that adds authentic antique character to the porcelain-white slip. The interior remains pristine and free of mineral staining. A singular, highly minor chip is present on the lower foundational rim edge, as specifically isolated in the accompanying close-up photography. This small blemish is localized entirely to the bottom edge, remaining completely out of view during display and entirely preserving the structural integrity of the piece. Please review all high-resolution images as the definitive guide to its condition.
