A pumpkin pie recipe baked right into the dish — Royal China's Country Harvest series, made in Sebring, Ohio.
The whole recipe is printed in the well, ringed by a garland of little pumpkins, with a fluted rim finished in fine brown hatching. Line the baker, flute the edges, 425° for fifteen minutes and 350° for fifty more. It is a serving piece that tells you what to put in it.
Royal China ran from 1934 until the plant closed in 1986, and this one carries the later "Royal China by Jeannette Corporation" backstamp with the microwave-safe wording — so circa 1980s.

- ConditionPre-owned, sold as-is. Sound, with no chips or cracks. There is light brown staining in the well and settled into the fluting on the rim that will not wash out, and a small glaze nib at the rim from the original firing. Honest wear from a dish that got used.
