Framed Art Print "Lancaster Sunday" by Ann Mount | Amish Farmstead Scene | Custom-Framed
A nostalgic, storytelling scene of rural life — an Amish farmstead on a quiet Sunday, families in traditional dress walking a dirt path past horse-drawn buggies, a white farmhouse and barn standing behind a picket fence, all rendered in the soft, realist style Ann Mount is known for. Mount is a realist painter recognized for her nostalgic depictions of rural American life, and this print captures exactly that gentle, unhurried mood.
This is a reproduction print after Mount's original painting — the publisher and edition are not identified, and the printing date is unknown, so it's offered honestly as a vintage/found print rather than an original work. What elevates it is the frame: a custom-painted grey-toned frame with a wide mat, coordinated specifically to match the artwork's soft palette, giving it a considered, gallery-ready presentation.
