Original Vintage Watercolor "Quiet Farm Landscape" | Signed D. Alexander | Ornate White & Grey Frame
A peaceful, pastoral watercolor of a farm at rest — a weathered barn and small outbuilding sit along a still pond, framed by rolling hills and bare autumn trees. The palette is soft and muted, all sage greens and pale golds, the kind of quiet landscape that settles into a room rather than demanding attention from it. Signed "D. Alexander" in the lower left corner.
This is a genuine found original watercolor on paper — not a print — sourced as part of our curated collection. We were unable to verify the artist's identity beyond the signature itself, so this is offered honestly as an unattributed original rather than with an invented artist history. The descriptive title is our own, assigned for cataloging purposes, as the piece was untitled.
The frame is a standout on its own: an ornate white and grey finish with a twisted rope motif and beaded inner edge, giving real presence to what is otherwise a gentle, understated painting.
