Original Watercolor Painting | "Murphy's Hotel" by JoEllen Werner | Framed Signed Artwork

Original Watercolor Painting | "Murphy's Hotel" by JoEllen Werner | Framed Signed Artwork, The Salvaged Curator

This is a true original — not a print, not a reproduction, but a hand-painted watercolor of the historic Murphy's Hotel, brought to life with careful architectural detail and a warm, sun-washed California charm. The crepe myrtle in full bloom against the honey-colored stone facade, the wrought iron balcony railing, the hand-lettered hotel sign swinging out over the sidewalk — every element is painted, not printed, by artist JoEllen Werner.

This piece was commissioned as part of The Salvaged Curator's original art collection, painted in August 2025 on Arches watercolor paper with professional-grade, lightfast paints, and finished in an archival-quality mat. It's signed by the artist in the lower right corner, and the back carries a full artist label with title, date, and materials — everything you'd want documented for a piece you're bringing into your home as a genuine original.

Presented in a warm walnut-toned wood frame with a deep forest green mat and a thin gold inner lip, ready to hang.
