Clear Glass Rectangular Trinket Tray — Radiating Starburst Fans, Sawtooth Rim

A heavy little rectangular dish in clear glass, with deep fans radiating up the walls from a smooth plain centre and a sawtooth rim running right round. Every facet is its own catch for the light, so it throws sparkle from across a room without a scrap of colour in it.

Useful as well as pretty. It is long enough to lay rings and earrings out side by side on a dresser, deep enough for keys and loose change by the front door, and happy on a desk with pens and paper clips. The plain panel in the middle is the point — it gives the eye somewhere to rest and gives you somewhere to actually set things down.

There are a few small bubbles in the glass. They came from the making rather than from use, and they are part of how a piece like this was produced.
