This vintage art print is a mid-20th-century book plate reproduction of the iconic 1857 large folio lithograph originally published by the famous firm Currier & Ives. Originally drawn by artist Frances "Fanny" Flora Palmer, the scene captures an idealized, peaceful evening in a mid-19th-century American barnyard. Livestock—including dairy cows, a calf, pigs, horses, and chickens—gather in the foreground as the dusk settling brings a soft glow to the farmhouse and fields in the background.

This specific piece is a full-color page removed from a vintage art compilation book (such as The Spirit of America, published circa 1930, or later mid-century collector editions) and has been mounted flat against heavy cardstock for stabilization and display.
