A sweet antique pair of porcelain shakers from Rosenthal's early years in Bavaria. Each one has a wavy, scalloped shape and gilded tops, and each is hand-painted with a garland of pink, deep rose and yellow roses. The background is softly shaded in cream, peach and blue.

They're lovely on a vintage table setting or a tea tray, and they work well as display pieces for rose and porcelain collectors

Decoration: hand-painted roses with gilded tops. Unsigned, likely decorated by a china painter on a Rosenthal blank

Stoppers: cork, in the base

Keywords: Rosenthal, R.C. Versailles, Bavaria porcelain, antique salt and pepper shakers, hand-painted roses, gold top shakers, German porcelain, Victorian table, Edwardian, china painting, rose decor, cottage core, antique tableware, collectible shakers
