Add a touch of Mid-Century Middle Eastern artistry to your home decor with this beautiful vintage Turkish decorative plate. This solid copper plaque features a stunning, intricately detailed hand-embossed (*repoussé*) relief depicting a historic Istanbul mosque, likely the iconic Hagia Sophia or Blue Mosque.
The front showcases traditional Turkish craftsmanship with a contrasting, silver-colored tinned finish that highlights the geometric patterns, floral borders, and architectural details. The reverse side reveals the artisan's direct hammer work on the raw copper, complete with an authentic, rich vintage patina and a pre-installed metal hanging loop.
Tested with a magnet to confirm it is genuine, non-magnetic solid copper (not plated iron or steel).
Design Motif: Historic Mosque with floral border accenting
Depth: 0.25 inches
Display: Ready to hang with a built-in metal loop on the back.
