This vintage mid-century metal serving tray features a beautiful reproduction of the famous 1868 Currier & Ives lithograph titled "The American Homestead - Spring". The pastoral artwork captures an idyllic 19th-century countryside scene complete with a white farmhouse, blossoming cherry trees, grazing sheep, and figures in period attire.
The lithographed image is framed by a classic cream-colored rim accented with a delicate gold pinstripe trim. The golden reverse side of the tray is printed with a brief historical summary honoring the works of Nathaniel Currier and James Ives. It is a wonderful piece of Americana, perfect for rustic farmhouse kitchens, cottagecore vignettes, or displaying on a wall collection.
