A heavy cased glass dish pulled into three soft lobes, like a lily opening. The body is clear, with champagne-amber pooling down into the wells where the glass is thickest — so the color deepens as the light moves. It stands on an opaque white glass foot with a diamond lattice moulded into it.
Substantial in the hand at 1 lb 6 oz. 8" across and 3.5" tall.
Good condition — no chips or cracks. There are no marks, labels or signatures anywhere on it, so I'm describing it by what it is rather than guessing at a maker: Murano style, mid-century in feeling, origin unknown.
Works as a catch-all by the door, a fruit or candy bowl on the counter, or nothing at all on a sunny windowsill.
