Add a touch of timeless Depression-era elegance to your table or collection with this beautiful vintage clear glass bowl. Manufactured by Anchor Hocking between 1936 and 1940, this piece features the highly collectible "Old Cafe" pattern.
The design boasts 15 wide, smoothly contoured panels that flare outward into a dramatic ruffled, scalloped rim. When viewed from beneath, the base showcases a stunning, deeply pressed radial starburst (rayed) pattern encircled by a sturdy foot ring. The heavy, pressed clear glass catches and refracts light beautifully, making it an excellent centerpiece, fruit bowl, or elegant serving dish.
Design Elements: Scalloped rim, fluted side panels, and a geometric starburst base.
